Meet Our Bombshells - Tracy L.

When thinking about all the Bombshells that have graced the CB Studio, one thing stands out, they all have left with a new appreciation for their body, what it has been through or what it is capable of doing for them. This particular Bombshell had a special case. You see, she was in an accident that left some pretty deep scars, both emotionally and physically, at a very young age. Ready to hear about Tracy's experience?

I'd love to introduce you to Tracy. She is a 41 year old mom to 2 fur babies and happily married to the love of her life and best friend. She is the sole proprietor of Serendipitous Souls a holistic healing practice with services that include: massage, energy work, readings, guided meditation and classes. For years she has battled to accept herself and love her body, perceived flaws and all.

Before we get too far, here's what we like to call a before and after photos.

Q: What was your reason for booking a session?

A: I’ve been working on fully healing my mind, soul, and body and wanting to feel a true connection within myself. To face my fear, reclaim my power, and fully own every amazing bit of myself. To truly feel and experience self love.

Q: Tell us some of your thoughts and feelings during the process of preparing for your session?

A: Quite a bit of anxiety, finding outfits wondering if I’ll be able to go through with it. I seriously thought about canceling numerous times- but I purposely chose the anniversary of my accident and then found out it was the full wolf moon the day of my shoot. I’m a full moon baby and wolf is my totem animal- so it was meant to be.

Q: The first back of camera sneak peek is usually a turning point in the session. What was that like for you?

A: Completely stunned. Couldn’t really find words at first- actually laughed. Laughing is often my go to when I want to express myself but unsure of what exactly to say.

Q: Tell us about your images? How do you feel when you look at them?

A: I feel connected, finally truly embodying all that I am. An empowered, fierce, badass goddess. The absolute love I feel for myself, the feelings of worthiness, and proud of what I have overcame and who I am.

Q: What would you say to someone who's thinking about doing a boudoir session?

A: Let all the excuses go- give yourself permission to see who you truly are- the camera doesn’t lie. It’s epic

Q: Is there anything else you want to share?

A: Long story short, the images and this whole experience have been absolutely amazing. It has helped me in my healing process, reclaiming my confidence, light, sexiness, my badass inner goddess. It’s taken 30+ years- but it’s so freaking worth it. Much appreciation and love for all that you guys have created and embody.

Tracy, it was amazing to see the transformation in you from start to finish. You were definitely meant to be in the studio! The moment that we won't forget is the moment that you chose to keep your physical scars a part of the image. Although we refuse to reshape bodies, we will leave the decision to remove scars in post production of the images up to the client. Secretly, we love when clients choose not to remove them. It's just another step in their journey to appreciate everything your body has been though and done for you.
