Meet Our Bombshells - Kim G.

Sometimes our Bombshells book a session to have images to give to someone else. This Bombshell came in on one of our rare mini session days to do a quick shoot to get a couple of nice images for Valentine's Day. Although nervous at first, she really came out of her shell durning her short time in the studio and quickly realized it's so much more than pretty pictures.

Meet the lovely Kim! She's in her mid 20's and grew up dancing. She's currently finishing up grad school and really looking forward to starting the next chapter in her life, a full time career. So why not celebrate this time in her life with some amazing images and so much more.

Before we get too far, here's what we like to call a before and after photos.

Q: What was your reason for booking a session?

A: I originally booked a session to support my friend who was doing the hair and makeup for a mini shoot.

Q: Tell us some of your thoughts and feelings during the process of preparing for your session?

A: Preparing I was a mess. I spent way too much money on stuff to wear. I was a nervous wreck. I had no idea what to expect and had no idea what to bring or what to think. I didn’t have a pre-session meeting because it was a mini session.

Q: The first back of camera sneak peek is usually a turning point in the session. What was that like for you?

A: Shawn showed me the back of the camera and I said “that’s me?” I was in shock that I could ever look like that.

Q: Tell us about your images? How do you feel when you look at them?

A: I feel so empowered looking back at my photos. I’m so proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone. I look at them quite often because I’m still in disbelief that that’s me.

Q: What would you say to someone who's thinking about doing a boudoir session?

A: DO IT! It’s the best feeling ever. Michelle makes sure everything looks absolutely perfect for the photos and Shawn creates awesome photos so you don’t have to worry about literally anything. They are the best team!

Q: Is there anything else you want to share?

A: I am so excited for my next shoot. I can’t wait to spend more time in front of the camera.

Being in the studio and watching Kim gain confidence and swagger through the session was awesome to experience. To know that she is celebrating and finding herself in her 20's is something that we wish more women would do. Love yourself at any age! The mini session Kim snagged just gave her a taste of what a full boudoir session is. Kim already has her full session booked for later this year. We can't wait to have her back in the studio to have the full #CBBombshell experience!
