Meet Our Bombshells - Heidi S.

Being a CB Bombshell is so much more than just having pretty pictures. It's about the feeling you get every time you look at your images. For some it's power and confidence, others finally appreciating the body they have at a particular point in their life journey. For Heidi, it's just that, celebrating who she is right now.

We'd love to introduce you to Heidi. To say she has a full boat is putting it nicely. She has 4 children, three sons, ages 22, 19 & 15 and one daughter, age 17. Her middle son serves our country in the Air Force. A big thank you for your dedication and sacrifice! Heidi is also a newlywed and she gained 2 more children to love, an 11 year old boy and an 8 year old young girl. Durning the day she works as a medical assistant and if that's not enough, she's also in school for nursing. This busy wife, mom and women was ready to step outside the box to see what other see and to truly appreciate her body right now. Let's get to know her a little better.

Before we get too far, here's what we like to call a before and after photos.

Q: What was your reason for booking a session?

A: I wanted to, needed to see what my husband saw. I have been anorexic in the past, had children and now weigh a weight I never thought I would. I have a body that I now finally love and needed to see it in person, not just look through the mirror--have it in print...see it on a screen.

Q: Tell us some of your thoughts and feelings during the process of preparing for your session?

A: I was so nervous prior to. It took me two years to finally book a session and a year to actually do the session. With Shawn and Michelle's help and all the ladies in the Couture Black private Facebook group, I was able to ease the nervousness...but in all reality, who isn't nervous before going into such a personal shoot? I had self esteem issues leading up to the shoot and worried what the photos would look like. I was hesitant on what I was going to wear, what I was going to show....how the shoot was going to be. I was super nervous.

Q: The first back of camera sneak peek is usually a turning point in the session. What was that like for you?

A: When Shawn showed me the behind the lens shot, that first camera peek....I cried. I couldn't believe that was me, laying on the bed, in lingerie, in the studio with this amazing photographer capturing me just as I am. It was surreal that I cried inside and out. I let a few tears flow-I had to have Crystal fix my makeup! Michelle wiped my tears and may haves shed some herself! It was truly breathtaking. Amazing. A moment I will NEVER forget.

Q: Tell us about your images? How do you feel when you look at them?

A: I am obsessed with my photos!! I still can not believe I have them in print! I am my own wall art!! It is such an incredible feeling. Huge self esteem booster. I am still on bombshell high! I will forever treasure these photos!!!

Q: What would you say to someone who's thinking about doing a boudoir session?

A: Don't wait! Do it! Get over that fear of the unknown. DO IT NOW!!!

Q: Is there anything else you want to share?

Shawn, Michelle, Crystal---Thank you so much for all you do. I am so honored to be apart of the bombshells and now I can finally say - I am one! This was something I certainly needed ----I will treasure this always !!
