Ever wonder what our clients have to say about the Couture Black experience? Well, welcome to our new blog series, Meet Our Bombshells! You'll get to read all about their sessions, why they stepped into the studio, what it did for them and of course, their amazing images.

Meet Jessica! She is a 37 year old mom of 2 boys, a professional hair & makeup artist and an owner and operator of not one, but 2 businesses. We asked her a few questions about her experience.

Before we get too far, here's an every day photo of Jessica and one from her session.

Q: What was your reason for booking a session?

A: I booked my session because it was always something I wanted to do but was always afraid to do it. I put it on the back burner for a very long time. I had kids, a husband, running 2 business and you know the rest... I have been following Couture Black for quite some time and one day some one said to me, “you need to see your self through some one else’s eyes “. I booked my session right then and there. I decided it was all or nothing!

Q: Tell us some of your thoughts and feelings during the process of preparing for your session?

A: I was so nervous I could not believe I had just booked a session! I was nervously sweating and had feelings of excitement all at the same time. I asked a lot of questions in the client VIP Facebook group, The Couture Black Lounge. These women hands down helped me prepare for my shoot. The positive encouragement found in this group is something AMAZING.

Q: The first back of camera sneak peek is usually a turning point in the session. What was that like for you?

A: I was so nervous, I had truly lost my self up until this point so I was not sure if I wanted to see the back of camera photos. BUT...when Shawn showed me what he was capturing on the back of his camera, my nerves went away. I remember just looking at the back and thinking “holy shit that’s me???” It was the best experience of my life!

Q: Tell us about your photos? How do you feel when you look at them? When do you look at them?

A: My photos are so freakin amazing. I still cry when I look at them. I can’t believe that’s me in those photos! I see a woman that once was lost and did not know who she was anymore. A woman that never wanted to step ANYWHERE out side of her comfort zone! NOW when I look at these photos I see a woman who looked her fear in the face and conquered it with no regrets! A woman who is sexy who is beautiful who is badass, sexy and a bombshell. I look at these photos EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!!

Q: What would you say to someone who's thinking about doing a boudoir session?

A: Just do it! I KNOW it is scary but you need to see your self through someone’s eyes! Book the session, it will be the best thing you ever did for your self! And please remember size has nothing to do with it! I told myself that excuse too. What matters is that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.. YOU ARE SEXY .... AND YOU DESERVE THIS !!!

Q: Is there anything else you want us to know?

A: I would do this over and over again. The whole staff is seriously AMAZING!!!!!!!!! And you would be waisting your money if you went somewhere else. Shawn’s talent is something you see so few and far between!
