To say Lindsey was skeptical at first is an understatement. She volunteered to help us build out our new studio just so she could scope us out. Now she is has had 3 sessions with us and 110% sees herself in a whole new way. To see her fall in love with herself and know we had a small in making that happen for her is an incredible feeling. 

How did you hear about us?

So I heard about Couture Black through a friend of mine. I kind of stayed on the website and Facebook for a while and just checked it out. I finally got up the courage to bite the bullet and do it. I met Michelle and Shawn for the first time, we clicked right away and just very comfortable. 

Tell us about your experience?

I booked a session and then way over prepared because that's what I do when I'm nervous. Putting on that first outfit to having your hair and makeup done then you see yourself in the mirror and you're just shocked that that's you. You get in the first position and you take that first deep breath, and all of a sudden, it's the end of the session, and you don't know where the time went.

You see that back of camera and you realize what a bombshell you are. It is a feeling you will never forget. That moment of that's me, oh, my Lord, it takes your breath away.

Then you have your reveal. And I didn't recognize myself in most of my photos, but then I realized that beautiful woman is me. And that's why I can't recommend this enough, because because we are all bombshells, every single one of us. And it's important to remember that. 

What do you have to say to someone on the fence?

If you're someone who is on the fence or not sure you really want to do this or you're contemplating it or you're nervous or anything like that, I cannot recommend this enough. I'm going to to tell you to do it because it really helps fall in love with yourself. It helps with body positivity, but it really helps you see yourself in a new light. Whether you're someone who wears makeup or dresses up or not.

Very rarely do we see ourself in a light that is boudoir or lingerie. It's amazing how beautiful you will see yourself and how much you appreciate yourself when you see your beauty.  It's so empowering to feel that way and to to give yourself some love.
