Whatever your excuse is not to do a boudoir shoot is just that, an excuse.  Susan thought that at 58 she wasn't worthy of a boudoir experience and shouldn't wear beautiful lingerie. Well, she realized that she was wrong.  She is more than worthy and you are too. Listen & read what she has to say.

Tell us about how your session day.

So I was so intimidated by doing a photo shoot. I am so thankful to my friend who told me I should try. I figured, 58 years old, what right do I have to put on beautiful lingerie and have photos taken of me? Who am I? You know. So then I went in. I was nervous as soon as I sat down in the makeup chair. Shauna was amazing and made me feel comfortable after the very first photo was taken. It's like I had known these people all my life.

What has this experience shown you?

It has made a world of difference in my life. I have gotten so much confidence from it in my appearance and just in my everyday life. I find I'm just not worrying how I look because I'm beautiful the way I am. I have more confidence.

I was laid off from a job that I had been doing for 38 years and I confidently took the next step and did something with my life that is my passion. I would never have done that before. So this has really changed me inside and out.

What would you say to people that are hesitant to book?

I would not hesitate to tell anybody to go ahead and try it. I highly recommend that you do this. Do it for yourself, nobody else. I had originally done it thinking I was going to give it to my husband for a 30th anniversary. As soon as I left that studio, I knew that was for me and I am looking forward to my next shoot in a few weeks. But I can't say enough about Couture black. They are amazing.
